as far as blocks go a reasonably easy find using just a shovel and android app. centre of block is 5m 70cm from nearby tree.. good condition. have cleared around and left a clod of turf against the fence to aid future adventurers.

OS sketch useful, but key to locating this block is correctly identifying the 2 concrete fence posts. Left it uncovered.

N end of taper of passing place. About midway between pair of concrete fence posts, E verge, pretty much as per OS sketch. 2m back from road edge. Deep grass but visible once I looked in right place: Gps was 7m too far south.

Found easily thanks to Mick & Kim leaving open... didn't need measuring tapes or GPS to locate. Lot of dog-poo so beware. Currently in line with the black cow and the brown cow, but they may have moved before next visit.

Still raining hard so I didn't have high hopes of finding this but....as often happens..I took a look at the sketch, prodded with the trusty trowel and found it straight away! Flat agricultural views in all directions. SB on side of a very flooded lane after the recent snows.

Too well buried. After much prodding, decided I would need to bring some tape next time... Next time I prodded in the right place straight away and found it. Easier now the spring grass is here, as the grass above th concrete was poor and therefore easily visible against the spring greenery. I knew exactly where to prod first.
