Lovely stroll up the hill from Poppit Sands. Had to do battle with gorse and barbed wire, but worth it to bag another on holiday.

Pleasant walk along footpaths from YHA Poppit Sands, our home for a few days. Some fields and stock fences to cross but nothing too difficult. Pillar sits adjacent to a gorsey field boundary. Original cap has been retained, lightly indented lettering; RHD side sight hole open, rear has a build up of soil etc so was undetermined. Extensive 360deg views.

Enjoyed solving the puzzle of weaving a route up to here from the coast path. Best view can had from standing on top of the dyke/field boundary.

Walk in from carpark (unnoficial) above Poppit Sands.took the track marked private,then across fields to the FP .Followed for 100m then across 3 fields...maybe there is an easier way .nice spot anyway.
