Cycled along and took the bikes as far as we could go. Beautiful Spring day with lambs and calves in the fields. Trig is an easy-ish walk up through some gorse bushes. Rewarded with stunning views across to the Paps of Jura.

Took the easy option over to Gigha by bringing the van over on the ferry and driving up a very muddy farm track to the bottom of the service reservoir track. Parked in an area to the left of the service reservoir track and followed the waymark posts up to the trig. Stunning views of the island from the top.

vgc, metal cap, wide raised letters. Topograph nearby. Nice heather & rock summit, fine view. Good path from 646505 signposted to summit. Took car across on ferry as had already got wet once this morning, accordingly it stayed dry for duration of my visit - bagged trig comfortably in the 90mins between ferries but would take longer without car and deserves better if a first visit to Gigha.
