Stunning 360 views. Parked at the churchyard and followed the fenceline up around Tom a' Chrochaire until I reached a gate, then up alongside a stream. Mostly frozen underfoot today but I imagine it will be quite a boggy one in warmer weather.

HISTORY: Pillar completed 15th May 1960 costing £9.13s.0d. Computed as secondary triangulation station NH40/DM/10 within the Loch Ness block during 1960. Levelled for height also in 1960. last maintained by the OS in July 1980. SITE VISIT: Parked in cemetery car park. Vanessa in good condition. Spider centre plugged with tar. Flush bracket faces 228° SW. All four sight holes open, innards filled with debris. Great views all round.

one day after a blizzard, lots of tracks in the snow. good views of glen roy's parallel roads- tried traversing on the higher one (shown on explorer 400)to the south of this top but no sign of it, the lower one was more obvious and has a survey pillar on the west end of it- for the railway perhaps, or loch treig dam...or maybe Darwin built it when he did a study of the parallel roads
