Overall approach from NNW. Parked by track entrance on north side of B836 at NS041820 or 149m height spot on maps. From north, random route through conifers then around others duns until the trig comes into sight. Scramble up north side of dun or walk up SW side. Heathery grazing top. Pillar in good condition. Spider retains OS cap with weathered raised large narrow letters. Flush bracket faces NNW, compass reading 337°. Vented through SE & SW sight holes. 360° open outlook to surrounding hills, peninsulas and sea lochs.
