Parked in the housing estate north of the A174 which I crossed using the footbridge followed by a steep climb up one of the many muddy, rutted paths. Hill strewn with rubbish and used by cyclists and motorbikes. Views over Middlesborough and Teeside, only half of the St George flag left. Dropped my phone / GPS in a large muddy puddle on my way down which without any maps made the rest of my day challenging.

Could just make out the transporter bridge. Picked up a full multi-pack of Twix biscuits nearby. Passed one burnt out car approaching and another soon after leaving.
