From the Sleepytown minor crossroads, along the track to pick up a new forest road, turning right at 60068 27139 for grassy tracks to the top. Step over the fence and it's there. Substantial cracking near base.

Approach from ENE, P a roadside (B9002). Pillar has a crack around perimeter at mid FB level - crack is quite wide on FB face. Good view of 'Dunnideer'.

Took a route from NJ 61418 27533, which started on a good forest track, which then turned into the steepest wee grassy track, sooooo steep! View great from the trigpoint but very windy at the top. Back via the same route.

Parked at Christskirk. A track led over a short field and on up through the trees and on to the whin covered summit. The colour and strong scent was almost overpowering. Great views from this modest top. With Nozzer.

From the ENE on forest tracks to open grassy summit with gorse bushes. On N side of fence, pleasent farmland views with Bennachie to the SE. Pillar cracked at mid flush bracket height.

Great path to trig and the views of Insch and Dunnydeer Fort is really great. There is also views of Tap O Noth and Bennachie.

Deep crack at FB level. Metal cap, deep letters. Fine summit and view, network of paths from car park to ENE. No kirk, altho hill opposite has prominent tower/folly.

Paths to summit from SW, south and SE. Pillar cracked on all sides at FB height. Spider has stamped font OS cap. Flush bracket on west face of pillar.
