Roadside verge parking on opposite side of road. MHC completely covered but a few probes located it. Rivet seems to be one of the headless type but difficult to say as its a bit beaten up.

brass rod type marker with centre punch mark, in BT chamber surround, bottom RH cover as you view it from road. Unusual setup, would expect a rivet

Located on the corner (Road/East Grinstead)Of the concrete surround of Telecom Manhole cover. Strange looking one this; I was looking next to the concrete for a standard Surface Block, this looks more like a long Rivet, actually in the concrete. I assume I have found the correct thing?

Didn't see the Surface Block, (didnt have any details with me, I just rememebed the man hole cover), so only saw the manhole. Will look for the block next time, as its only down the road from where im working at the moment! (with a camera)

What can one say? A manhole cover by the side of the A264. If it wasn't for the information supplied by the OS, I would never have found it
