Took a while to find the path up to the trig from farm buildings at Hendre Cennin. According to a local farmer, the footpath sign has blown down. She told us to go through some black metal gates by the side of a barn. From here the path is not clear, although there are some dilapidated stiles that show the way; just keep heading upwards for great views from the trig. I made the final trek up to the trig after walking along Lon Goed, having parked where the path crosses the B4354 near Chwilog (OS explorer map 254, SH442381).

Parked at the 187 spot height and hopped over the wall onto the very boggy access land. Followed the wall up. There's an unbelievably ridiculous circular prow in this field! On the descent decided to aim for the prow to the NW of the trig across the grazing field and so avoided most of the bogginess. Pillar retains original cap, a feature of most Lleyn trigs.

This isn't the easiest pillar to reach from the north. The access from the farm apparently doesn't exist according to the farmer. He suggested continuing along the lane to the none marked PRoW from the forestry. I did this went through a brand new gate in a newly built wall up the field, over a locked gate and up to the stone wall which bounds the open access land. Where there's a dip in the wall continue up to the pillar. Fantastic views all around. Had to retrace steps. I'm sure access can be made from a PRoW to the south.

God's fingers looking for me
