parked on the hard standing after the houses just as the tarmac runs out ... after the trudge thro the mud at the previous trig, decided to take a different route (checked out on google maps beforehand) than recent previous triggers - continued north on the track for a couple of hundred yards, then turned right and followed the track which doubles back round behind the houses and heads on up the hill, passed round the little bog on the rhs, followed fence up the hill and climbed the bank to the field with the pillar - base is eroding away and there's a reasonable sized crack around all four sides of the pillar - great views ... and as a footnote this pillar completes my visits to all pillars on os map 127 stafford & telford - 42 in all :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmAkTybWfa8

Entered field SE of trig after doing nearby cache. There was a gap in the hedge here, and not so overlooked from the farms downhill to the west until I reached the top. Didn't stick around - quickly reached the trig, then retreated to a distance for a photo. Great views from the trig, and of the trig from all around.

Parked on RHS at end of tarmac road and walked back to Hundred Acre Farm. Climbed over opposite gate and ascended field. At the summit there are two lots of barbed wire to climb over. Field was very muddy but the views were worth the visit. Trig is very prominent from road.
