Sorry remains of pillar (no FB or spider) found lying horizontal in a grotty litter-strewn scrubland behind a water tower. The passable view is this ex-pillar's only positive.

Moved/Damaged, Parked near the entrance to the common close to the water tower, followed the footpath and the W3W reference to locate the pillar which lies about 25yds from the tower, the pillar is lying on its side, unable to see the FB so probably underneath, spider and plug both missing and erosion, vandalism is evident.

No longer in original location.Toppled and moved to an area due west in front of the water tower on Mynydd Cadle Common. Can’t see if FB is present as that side is buried. Parked on the road by the entrance to the common. Short walk along the path to the trig.

As others have visited thought I'd take a quick peek and sure enough an easy find. Trig toppled and about 25m in front of Water Tower. There is a rough ground clearing to the front of the trig but the trig itself is toppled and in long grass but clearly visible. No spider and Flush Bracket if there is face down. Would be good to show it the light of day after so long but would take a few to dig/shift this one!

its still here at gps, on its side, FB down (if its still there) probably used as a seat by many folk judging from the amount of cans strewn around the vicinity

Sad, long deceased trig to west of water tower, even lying on its flush bracket. Needs a JCB to pull it over to show FB some sunshine. OS have this down as destroyed 1946....RIP

Moved, toppled and badly damaged. OS have this recorded as destroyed March 1946, so assuming it's the pillar that was evicted from where the water tower now stands then it's been lying here over 70 years, pity the FB is face down. Spider gone and no bolt at base. A very sorry state. It lies on rough common land on W side of covered reservoir compound, approx 56m W and a little N of where the OS installed it.

This one deserves a new status of "Trigaside" this one topped its self at the prospect of living any longer in this area! - the last time I saw a place like this it was on "Police Camera Action" - lock up your car!! Great Find Dusty!

Despite being destroyed in 1946, it's still lying on its side with all the brasswork missing. Thanks to Dusty for the very helpful photie. No views. Is this toppled / moved or damaged? It's both really. Missing plug. OS list the FB as S2064

Built 03/05/38, destroyed 3/46, FB S2064 (OS). BUT lying in scruffy grassland about c. 40m W of its former location. Spider gone - FB face is buried but I guess that was removed too (is tilted a little so wouldnt be hard to dig down and check). Not realising it had been rediscovered I nearly didn't bother to visit, and then nearly didnt bother to get out of the car, so this was a nice bonus.

I do not like to disagree with Glaslyn & Rhayader-wanderer but the trigpoint still exists (see photos). The Flush bracket if it still remains is on the underside so could not be read. A few strong arms needed to turn it over!

Concur with Rhayader s comments,can find no evidence it still exists.After reading the log by Dusty seems i may have been lax ...well found ! Will have to return .

Replaced by a water pumping tower and mini reservoir in the middle of a none to stunning housing estate. No on cite evidence despite walking all round and no trig point marker on current large scale mapping.
