Present and correct, fortunately the council didn't dump the grit bin a foot or so to the right! Just had a grass covering so a quick prod revealed it in no time (more time to spend clearing the FBM up the road).

Following a grass cutting exercise by the council I have located the trig and conducted some radical clearance that should keep it visible for some time to come.

The speed limit sign in the OS sketch has been cut off at ground level and replaced by a new one. Despite kicking the turf about in the area where I expected to find the mark I was unable to find it. The site looks over Sharpness Docks and the river toward the rolling farmland beyond.
