From south by road, just after the cutting, pillar is glimpsed in field on right. A filthy lay-by is on the opposite side about four hundred metres from the pillar. It is not at the highest point of the area but good views to the north. Young crop in field so followed field edge and tractor tracks as much as possible.

Layby north of the pillar but on the southbound carriage way. Walked south bound down the road to the field gate.

Parked in layby 200m North of position then quick dash across harvested field. vgc with cap although trig sinking to base of FB. Nice views but noisy roads

I parked in layby about 100 meters north, then through the hedge - pillar is located in field (crops cut at time of visit) next to what looks like a land fill/dump site). Good condition, not a great location.

This Trig is located in the middle of a farmers field next to a small reservoir. The location is next to the very busy A128 but there is a parking layby on the same side of the road that will leave you only a 5 minute walk. Not a memorable location but the Trig is in fairly good condition with the odd piece of masonary damage. The Spider and FB are all present and correct.
