Accessed from the northside of the M25 via footbridge and Folkes Lane park. Took the path to the left which wasn’t the public footpath and came across the trig point easily. The proper path is on the right and you can access the trig from the fence. Trig in good condition and nice views.

Lane to north off the A128 had a road closed sign but closure was beyond the footpath to the pillar. About 200 metres uphill from the lane in a paddock with horses. Someone was there who I greeted and asked if it was ok to take photographs and they seemed ok about it. Views obscured from pillar but good views to north west from footpath.

A decent viewpoint with views across farmland and to nearby settlements. Fairly easy to access via the footpath. I didn't clamber into the field with the trigpoint as I could see someone working on the land.

Horses being exercised and fed in TP field, with nettles and electric fence to overcome from footpath, so discretion won and I settled for a view from there. I'll just have to make another visit. Put up Buzzard by path - within M25.

I park opposite "Great Tomkyns" on the grass verge and walked up a very overgrown footpath to the trig. it is located just the other side of the footpath in a paddock - electric fence in between!, so 2 meters was near enough for me - good condition, all bits intact. reasonable view.

I made sure on this visit that I wasn't going to get zapped by the electric fence that has stung previous loggers, it was however virtually impossible not to fall prey to the stinging nettles along this very overgrown footpath. Having gone a fair distance along the so called footpath I decided I must have missed the trig and indeed you need to be on the otherside of the hedgerow to see it. Interestingly though I turned around at a point where the path met up with a very well maintained footpath/bridleway under the management of "Thames Chase" with more time I would like to explore where this goes as it was not clear on my O/S map , indeed it may lead to a preferential route albeit longer one to the Trig. I suspect that most of us have come in from the Tomkyns Lane end. Anyway once I had located the Trig and safely evaded the electric fence I can report that it is all present and correct in good condition. Some reasonable views to the Thames estuary are afforded as well.

I won't forget this one in a hurry! Scrambled under a rusty barbed wire fence and got stung to bits by nettles. I noticed the electric "ribbon" on top of the next barbed wire fence, so I took a longer route to avoid touching it. Unfortunately on the way back I tried to be clever and step over a low section. My foot slipped into a rabbit scrape and the electric fence zapped me right on the end of my willy. Jeez! When I got home I had a big red mark on the end.
