Well, what can I say? 3 rivets found: one on the summit rock - it was slightly obscured by the cairn, which I dismantled looking for a bolt and re-built to one side leaving the rivet clear; the other 2 found on nearby rocks to the south paced out at 5m and 9m. OS describe this as a Bolt, but it's been changed on T:UK to Rivet, so perhaps it is a rivet, perhaps it's the rivet on the summit rock. That's where my money is.

Well I found the two Witness Rivets but found no Bolt. I'm sure it must be here somewhere. Rivets 21ft apart.

Rivet in rock on which sits the cairn. However, there is a SECOND rivet in another rock a few metres closer to the wall. Didn't have time to get a GR for that one though.

Saskills Rivet by cairn, GR taken for this one.
Saskills SECOND rivet in nearby rock - but which is the correct one?!
Saskills Rock by cairn and rock on right both have rivets.

approached up hill from south-west on footpath through caravan site. By a cairn, nice views over reservoirs, with Old Man in the mist. Noise from the busy road below the hill very audible.

OS name Saskills. Station number T046 in Secondary Block SD47. Listed as a Bolt - I found a slightly damaged rivet on the NW side of the cairn. I couldn't see a Bolt, although it could be hiding under the cairn. It is not unknown for bolts and rivets to be mixed up. So on balance I think the rivet is the mark, and I have marked it as Slightly damaged. When the convention changed from marking all trig marks to just pillars on 1:25k maps, clearly they overlooked removing this one. Sodden walk through thick bracken from the reservoirs. Sorry - no photo, I left my camera behind. Grid ref above is from the OS.

The OS map shows ther to be a trig point at this location. Wainwright's Outlying Fells book, page 55, shows trig point no column. The location has a cairn of stones on a rock outcrop. Views from here are lovely.
