thejackrustles was certainly entitled to vent her feelings vehemently! I have never followed such a horrible footpath, walking for ages through brambles, head high nettles and sticky willy and under a blazing sun.

Spotted this on the map whilst at Hey Farm pillar and also spotted lots of footpaths in the general direction of the block. Not fancying returning down the overgrown footpath anyway off went bagging a few benchmarks along the way. Not sure many people follow this route as stiles were very interesting and one bit of the very loosely termed 'footpath' was so overgrown it wrapped me up like Shelob from Lord of the Rings does it's victims in sticky willies and made me as mad as I've probably ever been. Poor coinea heard more £$%@ today than she probably has in her entire life. Luckily once at the block it was an easy find. Also on benchmarks site: https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm91064

Lovely evening again. Surface block about 50m from kissing gate opposite the bus stop at the summit of Rochdale Rd/Broad Lane. Right next to fence, nice easy find.

Straightforward to find. On footpath, not far from road, alongside the highest point of the fence. Bolt in centre of 18" moss-covered concrete block. Cold and windy morning.
