Parked on grass verge opposite track to Ewdness Manor. walked the bridleway between Manor and farm till the track turns left, continue straight forward along field boundary to top corner and around to trig point. The farm is very rundown but as we returned to the car a vehicle and trailer with sheep inside drove up the lane towards the Manor. The Manor looks a very impressive and looks lived in.

Laura.W found him in the end. He is in the field as opposed to behind the fence but was engulfed in foliage. thrashed and trampled all around and gave him a damn good hug. will be enjoying his lovely view and some well earned sunshine from July onwards. in VGC with a nice skirt of moss.

Liberated from the jungle He took some finding but here he is. He enjoys a lovely view across into Staffs
All is well Spider detail. Always thought it would be better named an insect though.. whoever heard of a three legged spider.

Thought this would be hard to access but, when the bridleway turned southwards there was a convenient tractor track to the top of the field. This pillar still has quite a lot of faded white paint but it is half covered in very thick lichen on the bottom half - all sightholes thus invisible! The plug is original - deeply indented letters. It's on the edge of a woodland to the west and a sugar beet field to the east. Thus, there is a superb panorama from NE - E - SE but you can't see a thing to the west!
