Holy Cross church in Ashton Keynes was the nearest trigpoint to where I was staying for the weekend so decided to take a look even though I was unlikely to find the bolt. Did manage to find the benchmark carved into the brickwork of one corner so worth the visit. I've definitely got to get me one of those helicams

First trig outing for the newly-acquired heli-cam! Hovering a few metres above the top of the tower my camera picked out a lump in the leading on the roof which could easily be hiding the bolt.

The Church of the Holy Cross dates to the 12th C, restored 1876. The logged GR is that of the tower, the bolt was not found. Cut benchmark was located on SW angle of tower, but no bolt there. NB. OS Sketch shows location of Bolt on tower roof, towards the W side, S of the trap door.
