St Joseph's Catholic Church, Skerton. Lovely Grade II listed church built in 1900. Bolt destroyed April 1984. No cut benchmark, but there is one next door on the building immediately to the south. However, nobody in to ask permission to search for it and there were lots of signs stating private property. Nevertheless, there is a cut benchmark further up Slyne Road on a wall next to a footpath close to 46 Slyne Road

Lovely smart tower. Waypoint logged from the pavement as someone was busy around the church. Unable to vouch for the bolt, but I'm sure the OS records are correct.

Nice tower first of day off to bag a flush Bracket on a nearby disused Chadwick school building scheduled for demolition.
