there is a cutmark also but did not locate at the time - shall have to stop off again in the summer on our way to cropredy festival to bag again...... revisit with dusty 27/06/15 05.20hrs and found the PA Bolt

Grade I listed. St Michael and All Angels Church built on site of Saxon church. Origins of current building Norman but rebuilt late 15thC with some original elements remaining. Restored 1861-2. OS records 3 elements to this trig: Bolt - Enquired at church office for tower access but denied due to 'elf 'n' safety rules; Centre; Flagstaff - present and correct. 1GL bolt in S face tower.
