(139) Never had chance to visit this church before now. But growing up, it was the stuff of legend, and I know many who paid this a midnight visit. Smaller than I thought it would be in real life. The church itself is just an empty shell, but certainly worth a visit still. Cut BM.

One website says St Botolph’s Church in Skidbrooke is among the most haunted spots in Lincolnshire and is a centre for unexplained paranormal activity. You have been warned ! The isolated, abandoned church has had many dealings with Satanist groups over the past few decades

TA30 T021 BOLT. St Botolphe. Reported destroyed 06/74. Now maintained by the Church Conservation Trust. Cut BM on SW tower abutment. Local noticeboard states that the church was taken put of service in 1973, which corresponds with the destroyed date. Church now an empty shell.
