A lovely walk up the Camusunary track from Kirkibost, then followed the skyline up to the summit. Despite the heat and some midges, I started stabbing and looking. Two hours later, yes, that’s right, two hours and nothing. I find the app very accurate and it kept pointing me to the same bit of peat and rock. But no joy. Eventually gave up. However, the view of the Cuillins and the interplay of the mist and the sea made the bolt seem almost superfluous. What a spot. Grabbed a consolation BM rivet on the way down.
