Access hatches all replaced with precast, small area of original concrete NE side of hatch but no bolt

Possibly missing 22nd Jan 2018  14:28  by jonglew

Comparing Aye Jimmy's first 2 photos and mine (and previous logger's), it would seem that whilst the caps look the same, the concrete surround has been changed, it's much deeper now and the concrete is much fresher and smoother, leading most likely to the demise of the bolt. Unless I'm missing something.

I suspect it has been turfed over. See photo. No equipment with me to poke around. I would be surprised if the next (prepared) visitor has any problems unearthing.

This one did well to survive the hatch covers being replaced. 2" bolt almost covered by new steel access cover - on SE corner of concrete base to hatch.
