Returned by following ridge to Tom a' Choinnich then southeast to a very wet valley floor and back to car.

Walked in from Chisholme Bridge ascending Sron Garbh & then the superb ridge walk over/round the pinnacles of Stob Coire Dhomhnuill to Carn Eige which as you would expect is an excellent viewpoint. Headed North to Beinn Fhionnlaidh before returning around Carn Eige to ascend Mam Sodhail. Followed the SW ridge & eventually met the track through the glen for the long tiring walk back to Chisholme Bridge. An epic mountain day.

My Munro #213 climbed alone. The day before I'd parked in the Car Park at the foot of the Gleann nam Fiadh quite late after a long drive up, and set off with full kit, pitching a wild camp a little way up the Allt Toll Easa in the only tent sized patch of level ground I could find. Woke up to a glorious morning, struck camp and set off to bag Toll Creagach, Tom a' Choinich, Carn Eighe, Beinn Fhionnlaidh and Mam Sodhail before pitching camp again E of An Socach. A stunning day, if pretty gruelling carrying a full rucksack over 5 Munros, but absolutely worth it. Carn Eighe was one of 2 Munros that day where I encountered other walkers - this lot were the most unfriendly, stuck-up, arrogant bunch of snobs I've ever met hillwalking. I hope one of them reads this!
