Initially parked right on top of it, a few prods and it was quickly spotted. 1m out from the third fencepost.

(2697) Nearby cul-de-sac for quick parking. Fence a bit more dilapidated now, but the 3rd fencepost is still good for locating the berntsen. Covered over with lime fertilizer. Boot used to clear that away as best I could. Quick and easy this one all told. Briefly explored the adjacent Iron Age Fortifications before leaving.

Muddy grass verge, wide enough for parking, in fact I parked over it and had to shift the car! Easy find probing 1m out from the third fencepost. Had a thin covering of muddy grass which I dug away, replacing the 'turf' after photographing.

These are usually a right job to find but i found this quite easily but had to use probe and trowel to unearth it.

Spent the day at Aske horse trials near Richmond and picked this up on the way home. Easy bag thanks to the other logs, had a walk along the near-by iron age fortifications...impressive.

Not sure if this is it as there are no previous logs. this is the only thing we could find in the general area. Update - looks like we didn't find it after all. To be honest we didn't know what we were looking for, having not seen one of these before.
