Easy to find, straight up the track through the gate, right bend & the pillar is sitting proud in a clearing on top of the hill! The winter weather made it a bit muddy & slippery though!

On a walk from Netherwood Car Park. Easy access via PROW. Pillar stands at top of wood, well looked after and freshly painted. Pillar in good condition with spider and FB intact.

Parked at Methodist Church.took track,then footpath right into the Duchy of Cornwalls Estate..Followed straight up,then a right turn at top to find trig.Lovely spot with the bluebells out.

Got to work to find this one on top of Aconbury hill, excellent sunsets here also, be sure to take a torch as it does get dark soon after!

a good climb up to this one. Bob and Mum only walked up part way as Bob was struggling but the fitter boys Jimmy and Dad went together to bag the pillar.

I've been up many a hill..this un may well be the muddiest..squelch fest. parked to N. up minor rd past Pullastone farm room for a little un at ref505335. cap missing and small chip..muted views with haze.. and trees. either heard woodpeckers or there are Predators in this wood.. get to the chopper...

Located in the middle of the woods at the summit of Aconbury Hill (which is a Marilyn), but not too difficult to locate. Parked in King's Thorn, walked up to the trig and then on to Aconbury Court - interesting church - returning via Wallbrook Wood and Green Farm.

Parked in a small pull-in car park near a bus stop to the SW then walked up from the village through the pleasant mixed sweet chestnut and pine woodland. Very muddy underfoot but pleasant none the less trig in reasonable shape with a lightening struck tree near it that is crying out for a geocache

Lovely oakwood just outside Hereford. A hill fort. Visited just before the football. How can an old oakwood spoil a view.. Plenty of other places if you must look at Hereford. Bluebell Central.
