GPS indicated 3m NE of cairn, tatty outcrop, doesn't match shb's photo (cairn has been tidied so orientation not certain). Photo implies NW of cairn, a few suitable slabby outcrops, none matching pattern of cracks in photo. Cleared all relevant rocks, no sign of bolt. Maybe it's on a buried rock? I had no probe with me.

2 of us spent 24 mins in high winds on a fruitless search for this Bolt having previously been here earlier in the year to bag the hill not knowing there was also a trig to be found. Obvious conclusion is that it has now been vegetated over. A third visit now required having seen the photo posted by the first logger and knowing we must have looked at this rock several times - frustrating!

Came over from Uig an arrived at Tarbet at 11:20 then climbed An Cliseam before heading to Huisinis to camp on the grass due south of the car park south of the jetty. Set off at 17:00 for coastal stroll and to bag Cnoc Huisinis and Cnoc Mor + OS bolt nearby.

Easily found a couple of metres from the cairn. St Kilda this week if the weather allows....
