There is some parking where bridleway leaves A4212 at (SH86094105). A good track goes the whole way to the summit but you do lose some height after passing over the southern shoulder of Foel-boeth. A very pleasant walk and a great spot to have lucnh on the summit today with a good all round view.

Up the bridleway/land-rover track which leads to within 500m of trig. Couldn't find the flush bracket, looks as if it may have been removed.

Up forestry track which soon runs out so left with gorse and briar and no track until wall found then quickly up to Pen Garneddwen, deep heather and wet to Foel-boeth then Carnedd Llechwedd-llyfn [Llechwedd-llyfn] then trough of Bowland damp walk to Carnedd y Filiast then Waun Garnedd-y-Filiast then back to start of track which was followed to road to avoid further deep heather and bog. A very good choice of return route.

Bagged Gwastadros (Moel Y Garnedd) trig in the morning waiting for the clouds to clear then when they did we bagged Foel-Boeth, Carnedd Llechwedd-Llyfn and Carnedd Y Filiast trig in a small circular then drove to and parked at the bottom of Arenig-Fach to bag the mountain/trig (Carnedd Bachgen).

Up here for the June Brew with a View geocaching event and bagged the trig as fellow cachers chatted. Great views from here today and an enjoyable slog up to this one. The Flush Bracket is missing hence no FB number.

First day of June today, but a quite nippy wind made it feel more like April the first. Had excellent atmospheric conditions the second weekend in a row though however, so can't complain.

And the heavens opened...the final day and our final "Nuttall" of the trip and up until this walk, we had had pretty good weather. A long (and wet) walk back down the track to the car having climbed up over pathless heather and barbed wire topped fences - why do they have to use that stuff!!!!

Sturdy stone pillar inside stone shelter. No plug. FB missing. Public. Access Land. Snowdonia National Park. Surprisingly good approach from the north west [Ysbyty Ifan] by ascending onto the high, level moor, then easily up to this modest summit.

Above date is most recent visit of four, first on 30/01/1982. Squat stone pillar in stony area on large rolling moorland. Brilliant views of many of the 2000ers of mid & North Wales. No FB plaque anymore. It was S8519.

Its up a hill, its in Wales, its a great day for walking - of course its going to score 8. I heard the good forecast after the news that bird flu had reached a duck in France so decided to make a dash for the hills before we all get banned from stepping out of our cars again. There is a stone missing from one corner and from under the FB, but apart from that the trig is looking OK, protected by a stone shelter.

Stone built Pillar, with quite a bit of moss growing on it. basically good condition as far as I could remember (camera run out of batteries), but missing the plug. The walk up today was rather wet with the weather of the past few days, making the river crossing in the track rather tricky)
