Making our way back from a nostalgic day out along the North Norfolk Coast and at 9:00pm just had enough light left to grab one last trig. Parked in front of the Farm Shop's gates and walked along the roadside to the start of the field. Jumped over the fence and made my way through the long grass in the approximate direction of the TP. I could make out the profile of the pillar from about 50m so made my way over to it. Obviously no views at night, but from memory, they wouldn't be that great here anyhow. Nice to do a nighttime bag if nothing else.

Farm shop gates closed, so parked in front of side gate and climbed the fence. Seem to have missed Beagle by only a couple of hours.

The gate from the farm shop into the field was wide open, so an easy stroll across the grass. Pillar has a few tractor scrapes but otherwise all good, with one sighting hole open - going by the debris, it’s possibly being used as a nest.

Parked at farm shop that was doing brisk business. Trig directly behind the shop, park to the left and no fence hopping required! No views just road noise from the A149. The last trig of our Norfolk holiday - and it wasn’t hiding from us! Couldn’t see any damage but has lots of moss growing on it.

(2082) Parked at Pub/hotel. No-one about at the farm shop, which looked like it has been closed for some time. Apparently permission to develop the site for housing has been given, so maybe this pillars days are numbered? Field empty and a low fence was all that needed to be cleared for a closer look. Some minor damage is evident, but all good really. Pillar history: Built on the 20th of June 1953, at a cost of £23 14s 3d. Last maintained by the OS in May of 1981.

Easy to spot and a little clamber over the fence and mad dash over a snowy field won the day. I gave it an extra mark for looking good against the snow.

I parked at the hotel/pub opposite, while there was a petanque competition taking place. The hardest part was crossing the busy road. I then made my way through the farm shop car park and beyond to the pillar.

As there is no category for very, very, very slightly damaged, I'll call this one good. There is some very, very, very slight chipping to the top edges, but otherwise it's Good. Parked in the fruit 'n' veg place, hopped over the fence and into a fallow field. Besides some very, very, very slight damage the pillar has an original cap in place, deeply indented lettering; LHD sight hole open. 360deg views, but poor all round.

Stopped off on way back from a short Norfolk break. Parked at the neighbouring farm shop (lots of pumpkins). Easily seen from the busy roundabout. Recommend a visit to the nearby former Wolferton railway station near Sandringham.

This pillar was spotted by Judy on way to AA walk at Castle Rising.Parked on grass verge at side of busy Bank Holiday road,over fence easy done.We stayed at the Knights Hill Hotel 2years ago and did not realise we were sleeping 100yds from Trigpoint.

Just off the A149 at a roundabout by a farm shop. Nipped over the fence whilst no-one was looking! The field is now grass so no problem walking across it. Very slight damage to top surface, hardly worth noticing. Original plug with deeply-indented letters. No paint. W sighthole open, others closed. Concrete base exposed about 4" all round. Moderate W/N views.

My 7-year old son should be credited for finding this TP as he spotted it from the car as we drove past! It is in the middle of a PYO strawberry field near the A149/A148 roundabout. Pretty decent views but location spoilt by busy roads surrounding it. Plug intact but base eroded and top of pillar has some damage.
