From East Hill, follow ridge road, cycle path no 2. At junction with main A259, cross straight over and aim for radio masts. The is a view point with a location plate, just beyond is the trig pillar nestled in the bracken which had recently been trimmed back to make access easy. Good views although slightly limited by nearby hedges. Just seen this was last visited by someone less than 24 hours ago!

The location has the potential for great views but the growth of shrubbery and thickets limited them today. Which was a shame as I got the sense that the views would have been great.

Short walk on public paths to the pillar which is hidden away, almost as if it's an embarassment! Prominent centre stage is a direction finder - little interest to us when a trig is in the area. Anyway rant over the Trig is located high up near a viewpoint of the coast and downs and is a pleasant enough location. Trig is in good nick with FB intact and Spider with blank centre cap.
