Visited on circular walk from boat moored in Glasson basin. Quiet roads and footpaths to the thistle and nettle surrounded pillar next to a particularly well populated duck pond. Took the coastal path back. Hares in the fields and curlew on the sand and mud flats and views across to Sunderland Point. Lovely.

Bagged as YSM0177 Norbrick. Same as Walker Dan, walked over the fields from the south and back down the farm drive. A nice little pond with ducks next to this one. Couldn't see any marked paths through farm so ended up skirting round the milking sheds, passed a wee dead calf which I couldn't then get out of my head. Dairy is scary, but I'm addicted to cheese so I'm in a dilemma ;-/
