Unusual FBM- is it an FBM? it's definitely OS as it has a plaque and the bolt on top is like the top of a standard FBM. But, it's located under a c30cm diameter liftable concrete lid , and set in a concrete ring at ground level. Easy to find on east side of road at SO1087893670 in grass verge roughly half way between hedge and tarmac. Possible to pull in right by it with care. No pen, no height tag, no FBM plaque.

Odd FBM as noted in earlier logs. Easy enough to find beside the road, but... odd. It's got a lid. Marked slightly damaged due to some chipping etc on the screed round it. The FBM piece seems intact.

Another oddity of a FBM. Circular, set near enough at ground level in narrow grass verge. Cap tricky to remove, needed couple of items from the car. A standard FBM bolt revealed once the cap was lifted.

I was glad of the guidance from 1:10,000 map and guidance from the site. Several minutes spent parting long grass, ferns, brambles etc. The FBM is totally covered by a firmly attached variety of moss, so the sight of the OS metal tag was the confirmation of finding it! Certainly didn't look like the TheJackRustles photo. Out on a day trip from YHA Clun. FBMs still ahead of pillars for the year at 4 to 3 !
