In my opinion, this trig is in very good condition. Almost no scratches whatsoever and an original plug. In a quiet location, (If you don’t count the A27). Another great one to log!

Walked from Arundel up footpath between main A27 and Whiteways Road. Turned north where footpath reaches open fields, keeping them on the left. After about half a mile further on, cross fence through gate on left. Head for field boundary on right, my route was following three sides of the field being unsure of location and still dark. Although just getting daylight by time reached pillar. Good views of dawn sky to south.

Parked on housing estate opposite entrance to Park Farm. Walked through the woods , then followed footpath up to trig. Can see from footpath.

Parked just off the A27 to the south of the trig pillar and then walked in along the public footpath. Pillar in good condition.

Parked in Jarvis Road and crossed the Chichester Road then down the access road to Park farm. Taking the footpath along the edge of Screen Wood.

Second of two trigs on a walk out from Arundel. Easy access up a grass farm track from the nearby bridleway. Trig is in good condition complete with cap.

Walked up from Priory Farm trigpoint passing a superbly kept cricket ground: Arundel Cricket Club. Up through Screens Wood and across two fields to easily find the pillar which has its cap (shallow lettering) & one s/h hole open.

A little off the bridleway and soggy underfoot but found in good condition. Activated the trigpoint for Worked All Britain on the amateur radio.

Parked roadside at start of Long Lane on A27, little tricky as start/end of dual-carriageway section and traffic unforgiving! Pleasant walk along PROWs with short 120m trespass to the trig. Wire fence hard up against the pillar, but in good condition; original cap; 1 sight hole open. Lovely views S to IoW, Bognor, Littlehampton etc; other directions limited by trees and hedgerows.

To Felpham for a friend's birthday so stayed over for a walk today around Slindon. Came up through woods to the E where we saw two deer. Trig has N s/hole open but is otherwise vgc, complete with metal cap, indented letters, and extensive views of the coast.

Having had a lovely time on the beach and eating Fish and Chips on the seafront, I started to head home. I popped to the bottom of the lane, which was gated and locked last time I past. THis time it was open. I took the risk, as I was short of time and was actually ale to drive up the tracks to the Trig (hence my car in the photo!). Would have been a nice walk, except for being same way back walk, but was quicker this way. Me 77m

The fading sun makes this an attractive place

Parked at the end of Long Lane and walked up to this one - easy access just of footpath and bridleway - Pillar good condition located next to fence and water trough, great views today over to the coast.

Parked at the end of Long Lane on the A27, and took easy long walk to the top, turned left along edge of field, then next left, and there it is. Nothing hard about this one other than keeping the dogs from jumping around like kangaroos in the crops. Trig in good condition, nice and easy before heading off for second trig of the day, Barpham.

Located on a hillside about 0.5 mile north of the A27, and close to a footpath. Parked by the side of the A27 at the point where the bridleway runs north towards the trigpoint. No one around to disturb me apart from a flock of sheep in the field next to the pillar. Access was quite easy. Views on the day of my visit were poor due to the weather.

We parked at the entrance to Park Farm just before he start of the dual carriageway. The trench is still there - it's to take the water supply for a trough which has been erected bang next to the trig. Hopefully the sheep will polish up the FB a bit by using it as a rubbing post, as they have done on Barpham Hill. Plug with indented lettering.

This is in good condition right next to what looks like a recently excavated ditch. Lovely views. Metal plug with lightly indented lettering.

Pillar is in excellent condition, and is located about 100yds from a public bridleway at the edge of a field currently used for grazing. From this trigpoint you can see a long stretch of coast from Littlehampton to Chichester.
