Quick stop on my way to Bury. Easily accessed via the PROW. There's a school and farmland on one side with a reservoir on the other. The pillar is on the boundary between the school and farmland. Due to the litter etc the area felt neglected and I certainly didn't want to spend to much time there. The land has been built up around the pillar leaving it partially submerged and leaning. The centre for the spider is missing. The only view is accross the farmland towards the motorway.

Plug missing and all the hooks have been cut through. Leaning but stable - I suppose that one day someone will push it over the top of the bank. Views of reservoir and motorway. Soft rain.

Walk down the bridleway from Haywood Road. The Trig Point is up a slope on the left past after you have walked past the school and wood.
