Parked in car park & walked the short distance to trig, about half mile. Love the bench. Great views all around, especially as light fading the Wenvoe tower lite up clearly in view

Decided to park at Parc Cwm Darran to add a little extra to the walk. Followed the public right of way to the Pen Garnbugail car park and then followed the track to the trigpoint. Views would probably be better on a nice day.

Parking off road to south. Short walk up. Splendid views all around. Particularly enjoyed the white-topped central Beacons and Carmarthen Fans. 1/4 this morning.

1/2 from the Pen Garnbugail car park. Walked up along the Roman road. Easy bag. Great views of the Brecon Beacons. Great angle to see Cribyn. Trig sits at summit of hill on rocky mound. Trig in good condition with spider and FB intact.

Last of the afternoon as the clouds rolled in and light is starting to fade. Great parking spot at the foot of the hill and a 15 minute walk, following old part of Roman Road before veering off to the left to trig. Cap missing (open), Spider and Flush Bracket in place with sight holes open. Graffiti on one side spoils look and trig has some undercutting and has a slight lean.

Nice spot - it you can force your eyes to ignore the fly tipping. Came up here twice, the first time I realised I had left my phone in the car so could not take a photo, so went back down for it. Walked north along the ridge afterwards to bag the block.

Pleasant little walk up from road to S after finding a culvert benchmark rivet at my parking spot. Pillar has no top cap or plug and all sight holes are open. More worrying though is the distinct lean to the SE this pillar has. Top edges are also a bit ragged with one spider arm end becoming exposed; and the FB looks as though it's taken a beating. Nice views.

Parking to the S in another lay-by with at least 15 bags of fly tipped rubbish and various other bits of crap.Hillside much the same,even found part of a fridge 100m from the road ! Par for the course down here unfortunately.Pillar has extensive views N to the Brecon Beacons. Raced a heavy storm back to the car and glad was my last of the day! Pillar in good condition and has escaped the treatment some nearby ones have recieved.

Took this one in when visiting the (geocaching) South Wales 1st Day Event at nearby Parc Cwm Darran. Good weather, wonderful views it's just a shame that some of the locals consider the mountain side a suitable place to dump their rubbish!

Some litter but not as bad as usual in this area. Parking along the "main" road in a number of places then a half km walk in biting wind to the summit. Nice views I suspect but too cloudy today. March realy is going out with a lion after last weeks pleasant days

Sat bored in the house two hours ago and thought "I need to bag a trig point" As my back was not the best I picked this because: A) Close to get to in the car B) The trig is only a short walk from the road A very cold day, got out of the car and the wind was biting....quick up n down as the area itself is not very select, eg: as I walked from the car two young chaps came past in a beat up old nova and stopped the car just down the road....I turned as if to walk back and they drove away. Pile of rubbish n old tyres lay strewn about...pity as the views towards the Beacons were particularly good. Quickest bag n log I have done me thinks!!

Good walking along the common and accompanied by local mountain ponies. Shame about amount of rubbish dumped but the highlight was viewing the flight of the red kite flying above Focrhiw.
