Miserable misty weather so poor visibility. Pillar is again well hidden in the hedge. Pillar appears in good condition, no doubt aided by protective position. You really wouldn't know it wascthere.

Only by locating small gap in hedge and managing to make the gap bigger with loppers I had brought with me, could I reach this Trig hidden well within the hedge.

Difficult to say what the condition is as it is buried deep in a hedge, although some of the vegetation has been cut back. It is located up a narrow country road, parked in a gateway & walked a short distance along the road to find it.

Turning north west off the A361 about 300 metres west of the B3136 is like turning into someone’s driveway, narrow corner beside the house. From there as the road gained a little height kept an eye out to the south along the hedge line. Didn’t see the pillar. Pulled over on the south side of road beside a gate entrance to the field. Over gate into field and walked back east along the hedge line thinking it might be easier to see from that side. Reached the track of the driveway to a house, field overlooked from there. Thought I’d better check on here in case it had been removed. Should still be here somewhere. West along the road then spotted it right inside the hedge. Just enough of a gap to get in to take photographs. Thank you to previous visitors. No views. Spider and cap in place. Would need machinery to cut back hedge. At least it is protected.

Parked on Bowermead Lane, where the pillar can be found deep in a hedge, with the flush bracket facing the road. A chunk of the hedge has been removed, so that people can view the pillar. Thanks @vegibagger!

Hedge on southern side of road, buried deep on hedge. Closer to southern field side but FB facing north and abbot 6 feet in. In TPLM mode (Trig pillar Liberation man) of the TPLF. (Trig Pillar Liberation Front.) Spent some time gardening to make an access hole to get at FB to photograph but also to be able to have it free enough to made an air dry clay cast.

I viewed this one from the road side, so rather difficult to see clearly and I was denied the view south. I was not able to get a good enough picture of the flush bracket.

The view south from the pillar takes in Pennard Hill and the Tor. Preperations were well under way at Worthy farm for Pilton (aka Glastonbury) festival; the exclusion fence meandering over Pennard Hill.

I agree wholeheartedly with Sagi on this one. I climbed over into the field while Shane waited at the gate. The pillar is easile visible from the field side but as Sagi says the FB is facing north. The field was full of young bullocks, some of whom looked on in bewilderment as I crawled into the hedge to read the FB, getting badly scratched in the process, while the rest made friends with Shane at the gate. Plug with indented lettering.

vgc, metal cap shallow letters, S side of road, S face of hedge with FB facing N & hard (painful!) to get at. Took several attempts with camera, working blind, to capture the FB num - no prizes for quality!
