Photo’s from outside the wire. Probably could have gained entry but why risk it? Rubbish views from the road, probably no better from the top, hence the lowest score I have ever given to a trig.

Relatively easy access, the gates looked straightforward but there's a bit of exposure to the road. As it happens a handy tree presented itself on E side of compund offering some privacy from passing motorists. Pillar sits atop the covered resr adjacent to vent hatches. An original centre cap is retained, deeply indented lettering; LHS sight hole open. The FB can be seen and photographed from the road.

in reservoir compound but easily visible and FB number easily seen with binoculars. Looks to be in excellent condition and the view from the pillar's raised position on top of the reservoir banking will be brilliant.

As we went down the road, a white van had been following us but just after the trig point which we had given up on, it had disappeared. So we went back and a man from anglian water was leaving a package in there and kindly let us in :) Now that's what I call luck.

I can only echo the thoughts of others about the fence. Unfortunately the family prevented me from exploring seriously ! It would have been a nice sunset view from the top.

Thought this one might by easy from map but in reservoir compound with high fence. Revisted 25/10/2020 en route from Snettisham to join Peddars Way north then back to Hunstanton. Still surrounded with high security fence.

Given a high mark as normal reservoir fence - triple barbed wire top - but there is a way in.
