As per the previous comments, this one is sadly no more. I had a pretty unsuccessful outing today hoping to find both the Trigs here and at Beacon Hill. The later wasn't found purely down to my error.

Pillar still showing up on maps, though it disappeared at some point between August and September 2008 going by the logs on here. A glimmer of hope maybe for its survival somewhere going by dewdrop's post - but as that dates from 2010... Pillar history: Built on the 27th of April 1937, at a cost of £4 8s 0d. Last maintained by the OS in June of 1986. Marked as destroyed September 2008. FB was S1768

Well following on from our eventful stop at Beacon Hill, a sad one - my first logging of a definitely destroyed trig where not even a cairn etc. remains (unlike Pen y Fan). Wouldn't normally bother but the effort to find (didn't read the logs stupid me) means I might as well. Quite an unworldly place with the curls of threatening grey cloud and the high Pennine plateau giving a near coastal feel of strange distance. One other slight compensation - GPO benchmark (minus plate) but still with "ft" on the concrete on the road near the nursery.
