Approached from the north, at crossroads by mast about three hundred metres further south, pulled in at entrance to electricity sub station. Ploughed field to east, couldn’t see pillar. Thought it was probably in the hedge between the fields. Walked along perimeter, south then east gaining a little height. Could just make out the pillar in the hedge from the road. About two hundred metres east of it. Spider and cap in place. Pillar on south side of hedge. Leaning so noted as slightly damaged. Farmland views. Very clear day, back at the road, from a gate to west of pillar, could see Lincoln Cathedral, probably about thirty miles to south west.

Hedge bound, stick to the southern side of the hedgerow for access to the pillar and flush bracket. Pillar itself is leaning slightly, possibly due to root growth.

A nice viewpoint from one of the higher points of the Lincolnshire Wolds. A quick wander up from the field boundary past a number of partridges. It has a considerable tilt on it.

I walked up a gap between the crops and managed to see the top of the pillar. I didn't want to get any closer.

2nd one bagged on way back from working in Grimsby. Short walk up edge of field, but rape seed in full growth so hard going. Trig is on right side if hedge as you face it on the road. A distinct lean on the trig. Itchy.

(57) Parked up on the roadside just passed the opening that leads into the fields, and walked the hedge line to the pillar. Easy enough to spot, though the hedge is trying to claim it. Nice lichen. Pillar history: Built on the 17th of June 1939, at a cost of £4 11s 9d. Last maintained by the OS in December of 1980.

Down to Lincs for some YSM's. Two of us took the right hand side of the hedge, correctly, while one took the other. Really sticky soil in this field, especially when wet.

A joint visit with Carole who tells me that this is also a County Top. We parked on the road to the west and walked along the hedge line to the pillar knowing that the flush bracket was on the south side. Pillar is in good condition and still retains an original plug.

(210) 3rd hedgerow trig on the trot... Walked up the north side of the hedge only to find the FB faces South, rather than walk back down the field, I crawled through the hedge (stupid idea as it turned out..)

The views are good from the nearby B1225 but at the trig, the hedges get in the way. Past repairs still look reasonable. The plug is present.
