I can now confirm that the whole of the sunshine field has now been fenced off. It would have been easy to climb but every inch of the fence is covered by CCTV cameras so decided against it. It is possible to just make out the pillar.

Took an hour to walk here after visiting Wallers Ash Tunnel. Head for the water tower. From east cross main road then footbridge over the A34. Pillar is about two hundred metres west and south of the water tower. A sunshine park is being built at present. A new fence has been erected around the field. Thankfully the pillar has not been removed or disturbed, yet. Hopefully it will remain in situ. Only when at pillar did I realise workmen were on site. No views now.
