Second visit, noticed in passing a week earlier how much damage to the woods had been done by Storm Arwen so today took a few minutes to stop off and check the FBM was OK - it is, and the tree that is the easiest guide to finding it is also unscathed. FBM hibernating under a thick blanket of leaves. ~~ 03/07/21: Completely buried in vegetation, but thanks to Painterman's photo below it took all of about 10 seconds to locate it. Thank you!

Good condition FBM. Mostly buried in the roadside verge. About 2m away from road edge on the south side of the road. Photos helpful. Look for the tree with white markings.

Took longer than it should have to find this one. As others have mentioned, it's futher east than coordinates suggest. Look for the tree with the white bits on the trunk as per the photo.

GR error threw me as convinced myself it was buried! Eventually spotted it as about to give up - shocking. Approx 2m from road edge, partially buried, and approx 10 metres E of the GR. Height tag missing.

Visiting Kelso for a music festival and could not resist a couple of easy trigs. Complete with band in van this should have been easy, but as other reports, it is buried in undergrowth with only the top showing under the leaves. GPS not much help due to the trees overhead. Found it eventually.

GPS signal not good in amongst the trees. It took quite a bit of finding as it was covered in leaves... Traffic moves fast along this road so mind how you go.

Fortunately had consulted diagram and photograph on OS GPS site before setting off. My GPSr sniffed it out for me. Behind seemingly pointless but easily climbed barbed fence, in front of ruined wall. Was mostly buried, now partially dug out. Surrounding soil and fallen branches removed to photograph. GPS plate on top. GRP.
