Pulled over by lane about four hundred metres east of Kingsash at bend in road. Over stile and north along field boundary. Sign at stile saying keep to path. After about five hundred metres another stile and into the woods. Continued north for about 100 metres and turned south east along a track. Pillar on left, north east side of track after about 150 metres. No views as in the middle of the woods. Although, quite a pleasant location. Spider and cap in place. Gun shots heard , not far away, for most of the time I was around here. On the way back to the road spoke to someone standing by the stile back into the field, possibly the same person who was doing the shooting.

PRoW from Kingsash, parking by start of track (SP 8891 0565). Short section where 2 ROWs needed to be linked, otherwise all on public paths. Pillar sits NE side of the path. Original centre cap retained, lightly indented lettering; rear and RHD side sight holes open, front plug degrading. No views

Parked on the road next to a couple of houses and then walked along the bridleway. Pleasant walk in the shade of the trees as we collected a couple of caches as well. Pillar is in good condition with no views.

Cycled along the Ridgeway from Monument Hill to get to this Trig. Lovely Summers day for it but this trig isnt very exciting. No views except for the woodland.

I parked at the end of the bridleway to the south, then an easy walk into the woods for this one, track very muddy today - pillar good condition and located next to footpath supprisingly good condition for a fairly public area. no views.

Visited for the YOSM geocache. Nice walk through the wood to the oddly positioned trig with no views at all. Spoilt by the foresters using the tracks and making them unusable with their tyre tracks. Had to navigate across country. On the plus side I saw what I think was a Wild Boar!

Trig and destroyed path Compare with previous photos and that is not the worst bit by far. Sadly I cannot see how the paths will ever recover from that battering.

Parked at the bottom of the bridleway then over the style and followed the footpath across the field & through the woods. A bit muddy underfoot today. The pillar is in good condition with cap & FB but does have a bit of graffiti etched into it.Only woodland views unfortunetly

Parked at start of bridleway to S and enjoyed walk NE then NW on f/p. TP right by path in middle of wood - alive with birdsong. Original plug, possibly once painted white, slightly defaced by scratched graffiti from young (?) lovers (dated 14.2.09). A nice spot.

set in the middle of a vast Chiltern woodland, this trig stands on a long straight footpath about half a mile south of the main Ridgeway route. There are no long distance views, but on a bright summers day there is a feeling of remoteness, with only birdsong and abundant insect life for company. Visit this trig to be alone with nature.

There's a little bit of mud on the paths leading to this one but nothing notable compared to that I've run through whilst orienteering, albeit not in this wood. The plug's still there although the Allen key bolts are missing.

Walked here from Coombe Hill trig via part of the Ridgeway. This corner of the woods is much quieter than to the north. Still pretty muddy!

This goes down as the muddiest trigpoint setting so far, we're not talking a bit mucky here. We're talking a shin deep, super sticky, squelch fest! Trig point in good condition, complete with a readable plug. No views to speak of as it's situated in the middle of woodland; but the wood itself is very nice.

Like many others this was bagged while searching for the missing cacher George Chacshot,can not tell you much about the location as it was very dark, but I'm sure it was very nice,will return in the daytime maybe.

Gaz and I tramped past this one on our way to find a missing cacher. Pitch black outside the torchlight so we didn't see much scenery but I can confirm it definately was a wood!!!

Pillar with no more than a suggestion of white paint in the woods south of Cock's Hill top. On the way met a man going to fell trees on a tractor followed by dog and puppy. The latter started to follow us and then ran off... Sunny spot for a picnic.
