Damage to the top edges and a strange impact 'crater' on the southern face, with some faded graffiti, was sad to see. Otherwise it is a fairly quiet spot for an old trig to sit. A rusty metal pole at the end of the trackway leading to the farm is probably the remains of the footpath sign pointing the way to the pillar.
