The fifth and final trigpoint (and third YOSM location) of the final day of my excursion into the West Country. Almost a drive-by as there is a lay-by adjacent to the pillar which is only a matter of yards from the roadside. As well as being the last trigpoint of my trip, at 1,418ft it was by far the highest. Another pillar built from local stone and carrying a National Trust plaque. It looks like there is a chunk missing from the top, or maybe it was built that way? The centre plug is also missing. You can see for miles in all directions, but having said that, the views are just moorland and almost boring (but not quite). A fine location to finish with. Now itís M5, M4, M25 & M1 home.
