Flush brackets consist of a metal plate with a (nearly) unique number. A flush bracket is included on (most) hotine pillars, and on a few FBMs. They were also fixed to walls at approximately 1 mile intervals between FBMs. Flush brackets which are fixed to walls, so-called Non Pillar Flush Brackets or NPFB for short, are not included in the TrigpointingUK database. However, the Bench Mark Database lists all known examples.
